A variety of data management skills have been used in the projects that William has worked on these include:
Cleaning and Sorting data:- This process involves working with large datasets. These are sorted into different sections and the data cleaned to remove excess results, failed results or duplicated results. This has enabled the results to be easily analysed.
Modelling:- Data has been inputted into models which can describe possible market scenarios. For example, when researching crowdfunding the data was used to consider when companies had to pay back funds they had raised. This allowed an analyse the possible effects it would have on the company.
Indexing:- Indexes were constructed which presented an easier way to display. After the data was cleaned and sorted, an index page was created which focuses on key points in the data. This facilitated further analysis of the data.
