Mary Davies is a senior economist whose career spans the public, private and charity sectors. She has 25 years’ experience planning, undertaking and delivering high quality economic advice on competition, regulatory and consumer issues to senior decision makers.
Mary regularly advises clients on mergers and competition investigations in particular from the viewpoint of UK competition authorities’ approach to market assessment.
Mary contributes to governance and strategic thinking in her non-executive roles for a public sector body and charity.
Mary has experience both in the rail and postal sectors utilising leadership, strategic and project management skills to deliver complex projects and identify regulatory solutions.

William Davies Consultant
Undertaking a PHD at Anglia Ruskin university with interest in both international business economics and technology. I have undertaken specialist research into crowdfunding and presented two papers at international conferences. I use the latest technology in my research and have collected data on over 40000 crowdfunding project, using the data collected to identify the key factors driving success in Crowdfunding.
Alongside expanding my experience as an economic consultant for the past four years, through working in London for Pro Bono economics. Applying the techniques learned from my research to assist in delivering solutions and analysis for clients.
