William is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) with interest in both international business economics and technology. He completed a PH.d in December 2019 that utilised both network analysis and data mining techniques to capture and predict success within Crowdfunding. He collected data on over 55000 crowdfunding project, using the data collected to identify the key factors driving success in Crowdfunding. He is currently undertaking a research project for the EU that supports SMEs in the East of England to utilise data to improve their business performance.
Prior to this he worked as research assistant and associate lecturer at ARU. He also worked as a volunteer for Pro Bono Economics (September 2012 -October 2016) undertaking data collection and analysis for an impact of training evaluation for the Institute of Fundraising. He also took part in the evaluation of St Giles' Trust Choice's project the results of which were published by Pro Bono Economics in October 2016.has completed consultancy projects over the past four years, through working in London for Pro Bono economics.
