Voluntary Roles and Interests
Trustee and Director of Breast Cancer UK (2016-2020) a charity that campaigns tp prevent breast cancer through scientific understanding, education, collaboration and policy change. In my role of chair February 2018 - December 2020 I developed with the CEO and fellow trustees, BCUK's vision, mission and strategic objectives. I reviewed strategic plans and was a member of the science committee and the finance committee.
Senior Team leader volunteer, Pro-Bono Economics (September 2012-October 2016)
Led impact evaluations for the Institute of Fundraising and St Giles Trust evaluation of the Choices project with report published in October 2016.
Interests Include: Society of Professional Economics (membership committee 2013-2019, Association of Competition Economists with attendance at their annual conferences in Madrid (2017), Bologna (2018) and Copenhagen (2019). Government Economic Service Alumni and External Assessor for the Government Economic Service Mainstream and Faststream Economic Assessment Centres (2018-2021). Association of Chairs, Women's Economic Network and Women on Boards.
Regularly attend virtual management training undertaken by the Dale Carnergie Institute (2021). Good working knowledge of French and Italian languages.
