I have Identified 4 core skills which summaries my research ability.
1. Using my knowledge of multiple databases, to find the large sums of information, whether this be quantitative data, or media coverage. Providing large sources of evidence, to give the client all the information they need.
2. Examining academic work, to see if they can be applied to the clients needs.
3. Comparing clients work to pre-existing work, to see if their are any lessons that can be learned from other successes or failures.
4. Providing indexing of my research which enables clients to quickly from where I have obtained the research content. The software I use to achieve this is coggle, which creates a indexed mindmap which can be used to record all research locations. An example of one of my past indexes is below.
